Al described our corporate experience well in the September Newsletter:
"Well, the reunion is over. We had 22 class members attend. With spouses, we had 39 at our dinner on Saturday night. The location was good, the meals were exceptional and the weather perfect! Thanks to those who helped with the reunion: LaVera, the Hamilton's, Al Lauer, Russ Niewold, the Watson's, Loren Weishaar and everyone who took pictures.
We had excellent participation in the theme dress for each evening. For the Tail gate party on Thursday night, winners of a small prize were LaVera Partin and Larry Watson. For the Country/Western BBQ on Friday night, winners were Jan Watson and Gerry Varner. At the 1903 dinner on Saturday night, the winners were Jan Watson and Al Lauer. The dress-up made for a lot of fun all three nights. Thanks to all who participated! (Of course everyone wore something!)
The Air Force Museum and the Dawn Patrol Fly-in on Friday and Saturday were exceptional. I think every one had a very good time. There was a lot of exchange of old times and getting acquainted in the Hospitality Room. In fact that may have been the highlight of the event. We had lots of requests to "keep the Hospitality Room open."
Side-trips on Saturday afternoon were well attended and enjoyed by those who took them. We only had five people visit the AF Museum on Saturday afternoon - the rest took a side trip. That's good!"
I've put up a few photos which can be reached by clicking the "2003, a look back" button above.
A full set is available by CD to those who want it.
Cheers,
